adidas’ low-top indoor football shoe, the Samba OG, has a fresh addition in deep green. Presenting the adidas Samba OG “Collegiate Green White Gum”.

Featuring the classic panelling of the OG colourways, the pairs feature grey overlays on the toebox, all-green suede uppers with matching laces, white Stripes and heel tabs. The suede and serrated-edged Three Stripes on both the medial and lateral mid-panels are in white, matching the cut-out heel tabs at the rear. Royal blue tongue labels feature white adidas branding whilst Samba text branding in metallic gold stands out on the lateral mid-panels. A caramel-coloured gum rubber cupsole round out the design of this sneaker.

While the Samba had moments as part of the skate scene in the 90s, and UK football hooligan culture in the 70s and 80s, its recent ascent is one for the history books, but its newfound global sneaker stardom didn’t happen overnight.
