Description
The Air Jordan 4 OG White Cement is set to return in 2016 as part of a big Jordan Brand lineup for next year. The shoe was originally released back in 1989 and later appeared in 1999, followed by another retro release in 2012.
Spike Lee’s movie ‘Do The Right Thing’ shot the sneaker to stardom when the lead character wore them during the movie.
The pair is dressed in a simple colour combination of White, Black and Cement Grey. The entire upper is highlighted in a simple white shade with contrasting cement grey detailing on the mid-foot lock area and on the rear end branding. The most importantly the branding on the back heel, which the 2016 version will bring back the classic ‘Nike Air’ branding that’s also seen on the insole and outsole.
Are Air Jordan 4 Comfortable?
The Air Jordan 4 is not known for being a comfortable shoe right out of the box. The older technology doesn’t offer much cushioning and the materials are typically very stiff. Usually, some break-in time is required.
Are Air Jordan 4 Good For Basketball?
While one could play basketball in an Air Jordan retro, it is not advisable given the more technically advanced modern basketball sneakers available. Today’s tech surpasses that of the 80s and 90s by leaps and bounds with respect to on-court performance.
