Billie Eilish first kicked off her relationship with Nike last Fall, releasing two different classic Air Jordan silhouettes in tonal colorways. Now, the two have moved on to another retro basketball shoe, the Air Force 1, with the Swoosh letting Eilish craft her own signature versions of the fan-favorite sneaker.
This Nike Air Force 1 Low has a quilted upper made with “Sequoia” suede, a dark fabric with a tinted green hue. The sneaker has a patchwork exterior complete with canvas and statement stitching. The shoe also features sustainable details as its made from recycled and vegan textiles.
A plethora of overlays decorate the sidewalls in a felt-like material, whilst a canvas trim neatens up the mudguard. Her signature Blohsh insignia fittingly makes its way onto the tongues and lace dubraes while her moniker and a Nike check arrive printed on the foam insoles.
The iteration doesn’t include perforations, like other AF1s, but will be comfortable all the same.
Why are Air Force 1s so popular?
The classic yet stylish look, proportions, availability, comfort and wearability all factor into the Air Force 1s popularity. Air Force 1s look great with most casual outfits and have a rich history that appeals to sneaker fanatics
