Description
Mansour gives us our best look yet at the upper’s mesmerising moulded vortex patterns. Crafted by CDG’s HOMME PLUS sub-label, the altered upper brings fresh meaning to the Foamposite line. Where the Air Foamposite’s original shell was inspired by a beetle, this new pattern delves more into the realm of zen gardens and their artful lines.
Air Foamposite Ones are known for its signature ribbed base layers, but the Japanese imprint opted to take a different direction by fashioning the side walls and lower heels to mimic that of an elegantly organized zen garden. White and black colorways are included in this assemblage, the former of which we have a detailed perspective of. A majority of the shoe is made up of angelic finishes while notes of black show up on the heel branding that states “COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS,” carbon fiber molds that are situated on the lower mid-foot and the “AIR” badges that are embedded into the tongues. Besides the branded hits, there’s also touches of contrast on the tongue’s jewelled badges and the midfoot’s carbon fibre plate.
About Nike Foamposite
The history of Nike FOAMPOSITE began in 1997, the same time that Nike released iconic models such as the Air Jordan XII and Air More Uptempo (the first sneakers with the signature Scottie Pippen). Although many years have passed since then, the Nike FOAMPOSITE is still very futuristic. From the very beginning of its existence, Nike FOAMPOSITE is one of the most popular models among collectors. Every subsequent update released on the market is marked by great success, sneakers are actively sold out, and it seems that the demand for them will never be satisfied.
The top of the Nike AIR FOAMPOSITE PRO model is equipped with an ultra-light Foamposite and is a specialized heavy-duty construction that provides comfort, flexibility and ventilation. The Nike Zoom Air unit, located in the heel area, is responsible for low-profile, responsive cushioning. The sole, made of Phylon material, significantly reduces the weight of the sneaker, provides additional soft springy cushioning. Injected nylon arch support for mid-foot support. The durable, wear-resistant tread optimizes the grip surface and provides grip and stability. Loops on the tongue and back allow you to conveniently remove and put on shoes.
