Description

we can see the upcoming Crenshaw Skate Club x Nike SB Dunk Low boasts a clean design made from smooth suede and leather overlays featuring Purple/Seafoam print.

Featuring our best look at the upcoming dual-effort yet, the LA-based banner has strewn a number of motifs throughout the heavily cushioned ensemble, bearing the club’s building block insignia along the medial tongue and tread at the heel accompanied by crisp white nimbus clouds to hit home the baby blue, sky-inspired outsole underfoot. Elsewhere, the brand’s playful font assumes the style of the tongue and heel tab logos alongside a burnished tie-dye finish executed along the insoles.

As far as the color blocking goes, the silhouette anchors the entirety of its upper in a clad-suede association. Introducing its base layer with an onslaught of light cream, graphic grip tape overlays surround the latter with scratches of mint green cast atop a dominant burgundy background. While pistachio hues conclude by rounding out the nylon collar and tongue tabs, the cracked leather mid-foot Swooshes enjoy a familiar color match to the icy blue outsole below.

The sneaker also comes with a translucent outsole housing the same CSG graphic you see on one of the inner tongue labels. The sneaker will also include an extra set of laces and special packaging.

What does SB mean in Nike SB Dunk Low?

Nike Skateboarding, primarily known as Nike SB, is the Nike brand for its line of shoes, clothing, and equipment for skateboarding.

Why are SB dunks so popular?

By the mid-’90s, the Nike Dunk had become a cult favorite amongst the skateboarding community, thanks to its superior cushioning, support and traction

Are dunks or SB dunks more comfortable?

Are Dunks Or SB Dunks More Comfortable? An older SB Dunk can be more comfortable than a regular (non-SB) Dunk. Modern Dunk and SB Dunk releases tend to be stiffer right out of the box. As such, modern regular Dunks are more accommodating than their SB counterparts

Dunk vs SB Dunk: What’s the Difference Between the Sneakers?

The most noticeable difference between the two sneakers are their tongues. On the Nike Dunk, you get a slim, mesh tongue. On the SB Dunk, the tongue has been beefed up to provide more cushion and protection. By being thicker, the tongue helps with the fit as well. It enables the sneaker to mold to your feet, preventing any slipping or wiggling. The tongue is held down with elastic straps which provide an added layer of lockdown. As a bonus, it allows you to slip the SB Dunk on and off without having to mess with finicky laces.
