Fly Streetwear x Nike SB Dunk Low “Gardenia” DQ5130-400 Game Royal/Sail

(1 customer review)

SKU: DQ5130-400 Category: Tag:

This unique iteration is inspired by the fragrant gardenia flowers sold on the streets of Shanghai. The embroidered graphics recall sweet-scented bouquets and one of Jeff Han’s (Fly Streetwear founder) earliest memories—skating through the perfumed city.

The lush Game Royal suede and pops of Key Lime boost your energy quicker than a whiff of the aromatic flowers, pairing perfectly with the crisp, petal white underlays.

Vibrant lime green rear tabs boast Nike branding, while exterior-facing sail medial Swooshes see a feather-like design and dangling tassels for an ornamented look. The interior branding is displayed in its original form, while thick-cut rope laces resemble braided suspension cords seen on tassel heads.

Co-branded motifs hit the tongue labels, as the left features Nike SB insignia, and the right is marked with its collaborator’s logo. Yellowed midsoles and grey bottoms round out the design.

Are dunks or SB dunks more comfortable?

Are Dunks Or SB Dunks More Comfortable? An older SB Dunk can be more comfortable than a regular (non-SB) Dunk. Modern Dunk and SB Dunk releases tend to be stiffer right out of the box. As such, modern regular Dunks are more accommodating than their SB counterparts

Dunk vs SB Dunk: What’s the Difference Between the Sneakers?

The most noticeable difference between the two sneakers are their tongues. On the Nike Dunk, you get a slim, mesh tongue. On the SB Dunk, the tongue has been beefed up to provide more cushion and protection. By being thicker, the tongue helps with the fit as well. It enables the sneaker to mold to your feet, preventing any slipping or wiggling. The tongue is held down with elastic straps which provide an added layer of lockdown. As a bonus, it allows you to slip the SB Dunk on and off without having to mess with finicky laces.

The actual shoes are really good-looking. It uses blue suede leather with white & grey leather. The texture is excellent. The Swoosh, shoe heel and shoe-pad has the design of magnolia and macrame. It’s special. The shoes also fit me well.
