Description
The Jordan Stadium 90 isn’t an explicit hybrid of some of #23’s most iconic signature models, but it’s unquestionably informed by the series’ run throughout the 1990s.
The Jordan Stadium 90 is packed with nods to Tinker Hatfield’s original designs including midfoot netted panels, shark teeth outline along the lateral forefoot, padded collars, and Nike Air heel branding.
The shoe itself comes constructed in a mix of mesh, leather, and suede materials for a giving off a modern aesthetic equipped with the brand’s new Formula 23 cushioning underfoot.
Air Jordan Stadium 90 tongue labels with “Flight” branding on the inner tongues completes the design.
The majority of the upper takes on the former two, “colorless” hues, while sidewall branding and collar areas deviate in stark green contrast. A relative short trim has led some netizens to express their interest in the silhouette as a Nike SB offshoot, especially in the aftermath of the category’s Air Jordan 4 “Pine Green” proposal.
About Jordan Stadium 90
Taking design inspiration from the AJ1 and AJ5, the Stadium 90 is ready for everyday wear. The upper is made from leather and airy woven, so you get both breathability and durability, and Nike Air cushioning in the sole keeps your every step light and cushioned.
A mix of suede, leather, and mesh make up the upper, with the perforated toebox taking from the Air Jordan 1, mesh quarter panels taking from the Air Jordan 4, and the P-51 Mustang-inspired flames etched on the lateral side of the suede overlays taking from the Air Jordan 5. The quarter panels feature Swooshes in black with the tongue tag featuring MJ’s signature and Nike Air branding stitched on the heel. More Link to: sneaker freaker
This pair of Stadium 90 is very comfortable. I love them. The sole is soft and resilient. The upper is made of mesh fabric, leather and suede. It’s light. But it’s a little tight for me. If your feet are also wide, it’s better to choose half size up.
