Description
Kelsey Amy, the exclusive designer of the Jordan Brand player team, and her team used an architectural approach to creating this latest basketball shoe.
A bold blue hue covers the entire shoe, alluding to the blueprint theme, and the uppers have been reworked to feature graph-inspired designs and dimensional lines atop the “JT” emblems on the medial side and the Jumpman insignia on the lateral heel.
Tatum’s number “0” also touches down on the heels in white embroidery which is also reminiscent of the St. Louis native’s one-year career at Duke University thanks to the kicks’ color scheme. The exaggerated TPU plate also gets equipped with glossy borders to give the shoes some extra flair.
What to know Jordan Tatum 1?
The Tatum 1, Jayson Tatum’s first signature shoe, is the lightest performance shoe in Jordan Brand’s performance line this season.
The Tatum 1 was born out of Tatum’s desire to wear a shoe that felt more connected to his foot. Built out of a lightweight, strong TPU frame, the shoe is wrapped by a ground-contact foam that also acts as an integrated traction pattern, with minimal rubber on the toe and ball of the foot for Tatum’s predominantly forefoot game. This detail allowed designers to cut back on the weight of the shoe while also providing tight court feel. A large, uncaged Zoom Air bag in the forefoot helps provide high energy return without sacrificing court feel. The mesh knit upper is strong yet lightweight, while the collar is padded for ankle support.

The shoes are excellent. The blue one is very cool. I love them. Fit me well. The upper strength is good. Due to the hollow-out design, it’s very light. The cushion feedback is good, very comfortable. The price is cheap, I can’t require too much for the configuration. haha…
