The design takes inspiration from surrealism art and Kobe’s legendary 81 point game against the Toronto Raptors in 2006 wearing his first Nike signature.
Establishing the fine arts theme of the set, the shoes feature a surrealism style graphic that references what an other worldly accomplishment that was.
A black mamba inspired upper features a snakeskin look with art on the collar and Swoosh revealing the inside of a snake. A special badge is featured on the sockliner with “81,” paying homage to the Black Mamba’s highest point total in a single game.
