Nike Dunk Low “Year of the Rabbit” FD4203-111 Multicolor

SKU: FD4203-111 Category: Tag:

This colorway of the Nike Dunk Low Year of the Rabbit is the boldest from the pack. This Dunk Low swaps out the traditional “colourless” smooth leather upper with a light brown suede base. Overlays alternate between light blues, royal blues and reds as these colors are symbolic of Chinese culture. Furry textures are added to the Swooshes and tongue banners — the latter of which trade out their usual Nike hits for Chinese letters that translate to “rabbit” in English — to represent a rabbit’s skin. Lace deubres have been given gilded finishes and state “2023” to mark the new year while golden bunny icons are laid down on the footbeds and the lateral heels. In addition, the embroidered Nike branding that arrives on the heels has also been dialed to a luxe gold hue.

Dunk vs SB Dunk: What’s the Difference Between the Sneakers?

The most noticeable difference between the two sneakers are their tongues. On the Nike Dunk, you get a slim, mesh tongue. On the SB Dunk, the tongue has been beefed up to provide more cushion and protection. By being thicker, the tongue helps with the fit as well. It enables the sneaker to mold to your feet, preventing any slipping or wiggling. The tongue is held down with elastic straps which provide an added layer of lockdown. As a bonus, it allows you to slip the SB Dunk on and off without having to mess with finicky laces.
