Nike Dunk Low “Year of the Rabbit” FD4203-161 White/Crimson-Royal

SKU: FD4203-161 Category: Tag:

Unlike the multi-colored iteration that surfaced in November, this pair sports a USA vibe with its “White,” “Crimson,” and “Varsity Royal” outfit, and directly nods to the Air Force 1 that was released in 2011, which additionally celebrated the Year of the Rabbit.

This offering of the Nike Dunk Low is a direct nod to the Air Force 1 featuring a Grey suede base with White leather overlays and Crimson chenille Swoosh on the lateral and Royal Swoosh on the medial. Highlighting the release are Chinese characters on the tongues, followed by graphics of rabbits on the lateral ankles and insoles. For the finishing touches, the sneaker includes translucent outsoles with the years “2011” and “2023” displayed.

Dunk vs SB Dunk: What’s the Difference Between the Sneakers?

The most noticeable difference between the two sneakers are their tongues. On the Nike Dunk, you get a slim, mesh tongue. On the SB Dunk, the tongue has been beefed up to provide more cushion and protection. By being thicker, the tongue helps with the fit as well. It enables the sneaker to mold to your feet, preventing any slipping or wiggling. The tongue is held down with elastic straps which provide an added layer of lockdown. As a bonus, it allows you to slip the SB Dunk on and off without having to mess with finicky laces.
