Description
the sneaker is covered in a sea-green shade known as “Bicoastal,” with “Black” and “Metallic Silver” highlights. Its upper dons a suede finish in green at the base and black at the Swooshes. A metallic silver enlivens the design at its heel counter, sporting a green signature detail while a debossed “24” appears at the heel. Silver is also used at the Nike Kobe logo located at the tongue and the colorway’s “Girl Dad” embroidery at the tongue’s interior. Performance-wise, the sneaker is complete with a two-tone Phylon midsole and Zoom Air unit in the heel. Supporting the sneaker, an icy outsole combines with a green midsole to complete the look.
About Kobe 4 Protro:
The Protro edition of the Kobe 4 is nearly identical to the original. The Kobe 4s worn by Luka were a “Protro” version, which slimmed the heel shape and increased the range of the traction. The heel Zoom Air and soft phylon foam remained in the cushioning, providing lightweight bounce when landing on the heel. The upper features synthetic leather uppers, with Flywire panels in the midfoot for added lockdown. It’s a bit softer in the brand-new iteration thus giving a slightly softer feel under-foot.
Why are Kobe shoes so good?
Compared to other Nike signature shoes, the line designed for Kobe has always focused on sports performance rather than the aesthetics of Instagram or endorsements of rappers. Since Bryant switched from adidas to Nike in 2003, his signature shoes have become synonymous with performance and attention to detail
