Description
If you were into sneakers during the early 2010s, you may remember that Nike dropped the Black and Gold Kobe 6 BHM in honor of Black History Month. In 2024, Nike will be be revisiting that theme on the Kobe 6, this time dropping a White and Gold Black History Month iteration of the Kobe 6 Protro.
Honoring Black History Month 2024, the Nike Kobe 6 Protro BHM is the polar opposite of the OG Nike Kobe 6 BHM from 2011 as it will come dressed in a clean White and Metallic Gold color scheme. It deviates from the original Black base, instead opting for a White backdrop adorned with striking Gold accents on the Swoosh logos and heel counter. Emblazoned on the shoe are Kobe Bryant’s inspiring “Be Legendary” motto and a prominent “BHM” emblem. A gold iteration of Kobe’s Kill Bill inspired “sheath” logo and golden Swooshes round off the look.
From a performance standpoint, the Kobe 6 Protro upgrades on the regular Kobe 6 with a 50-percent-larger Zoom Air Turbo bag in the forefoot, upgraded heel foam and increased surface area on its outsole traction pattern.
Which is better Kobe Protro 5 or 6?
and it’s pretty much a matter of preference. if you like having that more low to the ground feel then the kobe 5 wins that by just a little bit but if you like having a little bit more cushion. and impact protection then the whole b6 would be your best bet of the two.Mar 6, 2021
Why are Kobe shoes so good?
Compared to other Nike signature shoes, the line designed for Kobe has always focused on sports performance rather than the aesthetics of Instagram or endorsements of rappers. Since Bryant switched from adidas to Nike in 2003, his signature shoes have become synonymous with performance and attention to detail
I love everything about this shoe! I got the size I normally get and they fit great! I get compliments every time I wear this shoe! No complaints here 🙂
