Description
A deeply revered silhouette from Kobe Bryant’s vast sneaker catalogue, the Nike Kobe 6 has enjoyed strong cultural relevance since its release in 2010. Designed by sneaker veteran Eric Avar, the Kobe 6 is still manufactured with polyurethane ‘island’ uppers.
First seen in 2011, the “Orange Peel/Black/Cannon” pair was designed as a nod to that year’s host-city of NBA All-Star Weekend: Los Angeles. Accompanied by propositions inspired by East LA (shoutout Boyle Heights) and Hollywood, the “Orange County” arrangement proffers a sunset-reminiscent gradient onto the silhouette’s scale-laden upper.
These latest Nike Kobe features the classic reptile skin texture throughout the upper. The Swooshes appear within. You can also say the texture imitates the dragon scale because of the studded upper layer. This is only for the midfoot. Tongues and collars boast a solid citrus tone, while profile swooshes and molded heel structures interrupt the OC-inspired palette with their silver makeup. Underfoot, Zoom Air-encapsulating midsoles and their multi-directional tread forgo any vibrant color scheme in favor of “Black” and cool grey duo.
Which is better Kobe Protro 5 or 6?
and it’s pretty much a matter of preference. if you like having that more low to the ground feel then the kobe 5 wins that by just a little bit but if you like having a little bit more cushion. and impact protection then the whole b6 would be your best bet of the two.Mar 6, 2021
Why are Kobe shoes so good?
Compared to other Nike signature shoes, the line designed for Kobe has always focused on sports performance rather than the aesthetics of Instagram or endorsements of rappers. Since Bryant switched from adidas to Nike in 2003, his signature shoes have become synonymous with performance and attention to detail
Came on time, looks great. Just like they are in the picture and my son loves them. It’s cheaper than the stores.
