This release is expected to be a part of an ongoing “Halo” collection, which started with the all-white Nike Kobe 8 Protro “Halo” unveiled by Vanessa Bryant and Nike in August.
The “Mambacita” edition, a heartfelt homage to Kobe’s daughter Gianna “Gigi” Bryant, showcases a sleek black and white design. Maintaining the original 2012 aesthetic of the Kobe 8, this Protro iteration is set to incorporate contemporary modifications to suit modern-day athletes. Black accents grace the laces, inner lining, and midsole, while Metallic Gold Swooshes add a touch of sophistication. The ensemble is completed with a solid White rubber sole with “Gigi” her jersey number “2” on the heels.

Bryant’s eighth Nike signature shoe debuted in 2012 and was created by longtime Nike designer Eric Avar.they feature an Engineered Mesh upper with no-sew synthetic overlays, a full-length Lunarlon midsole and Zoom Air cushioning.
