Uppers are styled with a breathable mesh and are accompanied by cages that hug the quarter panels as well as webbed overlays that rest on the toe boxes. A 3D-like approach is used on the Swoosh logos while sitting atop a chunky sole unit to give the shoe a modern aesthetic.
However,the sole piece is significantly different than the Vomero and allows the silhouette to stand on its own. It’s essentially split into two parts that come separated at the middle by a fin-shaped mold while the heel section is supported by a thicker foam piece. Furthermore, the rear is held in place by its thin cup for extra dimension and support.
