Nike’s Zoom Vomero has a delicious new chocolate-hued variant. Debuting as a long-distance running shoe back in 2010, the Vomero was a crowd favourite upon its 2018 return, mostly due to its unmatched comfort.
Done in an official color makeup of Velvet Brown/Game Royal-Earth-Anthracite as the low top sneaker features a predominantly brown mesh construction on the upper with suede and patent leather overlays done in similar shades of brown. More black patent leather can be found on the eye stay panel and the collar.
The mid-panels show off a slatted design with the overlays in brown and the underlays in gym red, matching the branded tongue tab design.
Smaller notes of a muted red accent through the flecked laces, borders of the Swooshes as well as the mesh layers that lie beneath the aforementioned cage.
The diamond-patterned TPU heel panel is dark grey, while a grey Zoom Air cushioned midsole and a white rubber outsole round off the sneaker.
Nike Zoom Vomero+ 5 General Info:
The Nike Zoom Vomero is a cushioning shoe that – in a relatively short amount of time – conquered the hearts (and feet) of an amazing number of runners. Known for its soft and unique cushioning, it is now at the fifth edition and is as usual presented in both a mens and a womens specifically engineered version. The new Vomero 5 presents Zoom Air cushioning both in the heel and the forefoot, a redesigned midfoot section and updates to the fit.
