Nike SB Dunk Low “Pink Pig” Atomic Pink CV1655-600 Arrived in 2021

Contrary to the name and the colorway, the Nike SB design isn’t inspired by swine. Instead, it references a Porsche race car that debuted at the 1971 24 Hours of Le Mans, as the vehicle’s panels were named after cuts of meat from a pig.

Covered in blush pink suede, the Dunk Low is contrasted with red stitching all around as a further nod to Porsche’s anatomical sectioning of its bodywork.

This material extends from the lower base to the overlays, mesh tongues, perforated toe, and even the Swoosh, all panels further accented with red contrast stich. The latter shade also marks the Nike branding both behind at the heel tab as well as forward along the mesh tongue, its usage quite similar to the decals sprawled atop the same-named Porsche.

What sets the Dunk Low apart is the lack of the number “23,” a numeral that proudly dressed the race car’s hood and side. Rounding out the pair is a signature SB sole unit in white with a black outsole, which is finished with a pink Nike SB touch on the bottom.

Are dunks or SB dunks more comfortable?

Are Dunks Or SB Dunks More Comfortable? An older SB Dunk can be more comfortable than a regular (non-SB) Dunk. Modern Dunk and SB Dunk releases tend to be stiffer right out of the box. As such, modern regular Dunks are more accommodating than their SB counterparts

Dunk vs SB Dunk: What’s the Difference Between the Sneakers?

The most noticeable difference between the two sneakers are their tongues. On the Nike Dunk, you get a slim, mesh tongue. On the SB Dunk, the tongue has been beefed up to provide more cushion and protection. By being thicker, the tongue helps with the fit as well. It enables the sneaker to mold to your feet, preventing any slipping or wiggling. The tongue is held down with elastic straps which provide an added layer of lockdown. As a bonus, it allows you to slip the SB Dunk on and off without having to mess with finicky laces.
