Undefeated x Air Jordan 4 Retro Olive/Oiled Suede

The Los Angeles-based premium sneaker boutique, UNDEFEATED, and Air Jordan partnered up all the way back in 2005 to create the limited edition UNDEFEATED x Air Jordan 4 Olive Black that was only released as part of an in-store raffle. No doubt inspired by the recent announcement of the Air Jordan 8 “UNDFTD,” sneaker customizer The Shoe Surgeon has unveiled a custom Air Jordan 4 sporting an UNDEFEATED colorway.

The Undefeated model is rather simple and features an Olive,Black and Orange color-way with a design inspired by the MA-1 Flight Jacket, very similar to the retro version that was released after the Air Jordan Undefeated IV. The oversized tongue black tongue with orange lining features a removable Velcro orange Jumpman-branded tongue tab. The iconic AJ4 netting and plastic weight-reducing eyelet “wings” are all black, matching the laces. A Sail-coloured midsole featuring an exposed Air unit and a black rubber outsole round out the shoe’s design.

Are Air Jordan 4 Good For Basketball?

While one could play basketball in an Air Jordan retro, it is not advisable given the more technically advanced modern basketball sneakers available. Today’s tech surpasses that of the 80s and 90s by leaps and bounds with respect to on-court performance.
