Description
The savvy sneakerhead out there will recognise the interesting woven pattern that rides along the sidewall isn’t new at all, yet borrowed from the Nike Air Footscape Woven. Probably one of the brand’s most unconventional designs, the AFW was created by Tory Orzeck in 1996 and gained a huge cult following in Japan. For the first time ever, the woven detailing has been transferred onto the upper of the Air Jordan 1 together, something sneakerheads would never imagine they’d see.
This offering of the Union x Air Jordan 1 High OG comes in an OG-styled “Neutral Grey” makeup constructed in a full leather build with woven detailing wrapping around the entire shoe. Yellow and grey toned accents further accentuate the upper, alongside Union lateral tag branding and Bephie’s Beauty Supply heel embroidery. A two-tone aged rubber sole completes the design. The shoe will also come with extra set of laces and housed in special packaging.
Who is the founder of Jordan 1?
Product history. The first Air Jordan was produced for use by Michael Jordan. They were designed by Peter B. Moore, and released during Jordan’s sophomore season with the Chicago Bulls. The Jordan 1 Royal was never worn by Michael Jordan on an NBA court.
Why are Air Jordan 1 so good?
- The biggest reason why the Air Jordan sneakers are popular and why people continue to buy them is because they offer high-quality performance products. As high-quality shoes, they provide great comfort and support, unlike other products in the market.
- The Air Jordan is famous because it is not like the regular signature shoes. These sneakers represent a type of belief and pursuit and not just Jordan’s brilliant career.
