Released in 2017 at a pop-up in Harlem, New York, the Vlone x NikeLab Air Force 1 ‘Vlone’ originally debuted at ComplexCon 2016.

Keeping things clean, this Nike Air Force 1 Low by VLONE features a White and Orange color theme. Throughout the uppers is White with the use tumbled leather. Adding some pop is Orange which hits the Nike Swoosh, Air on the midsole and stitching. but also a ‘V’ on the heel patch and ‘Every Living Creatures Dies Alone’ across the heels. Contrast stitching throughout is also finished in orange.

Releasing as part of the New York’s Fashion Week festivities, the long-awaited AF-1 is said to be a tribute to the past, present and future of Harlem’s basketball culture – and, no doubt, the area’s influence on the adoption of the Uptown into popular culture.
